Dear Students!

We are very pleased to announce opening of the Intercultural Communication Club (ICC) in the Educational Research Center of Intensive Teaching of Foreign Languages “Intensive” of Kyiv National Economic University.

Creation of the ICC has been determined by the barest necessity of the considerable number of students of Kyiv National Economic University with the high level of the English language acquisition to use the target language as means of communication and of getting new information. The idea of its creation has been entirely backed by the authorities of the university who are greatly concerned about the foreign languages competence of the university students.

The club desegregates the students of Kyiv National Economic University and the outcomers. Every self-motivated, goal-oriented, focused on career objectives person able to communicate fluently in English is considered to be a member of our club.

• To enable students to communicate with native speakers of the target language in order to get acquainted with non-biased points of view on issues in different spheres of human being’s activity.
• To increase intellectual level of our students who claim to represent our country in a worthy manner at the international arena.
• To maintain friendly relations with other countries.

To achieve the listed goals we have developed new contacts with foreign organizations. In particular, we have enlisted the support of Peace Corps to become the official partner of our club. Furthermore, we have come to an agreement on cooperation with a British school of English – Anglo Continental for you to have a splendid opportunity to brush up your English in GB.
